barryreid
I very much like the Canon AT-1. The only A series body which has a coupled metered manual mode. Admittedly that's about all it has... It is a lovely straightfoward, compact, manual exposure, manual focus body that sells for peanuts and isn't even rated by Canon FD fans.
mike_pallas
Probably the Minolta Dynax 9 or the Pentax MZ-S. I think they came at a time when people were anticipating a digital revolution which eventually came quite rapidly around 2002 and so these cameras suffered poorer sales than they should have enjoyed.
scott_murphy5
For me it has to be the Nikkormat FT3. It was a no frills camera with a slightly dark finder but having the shutter speed ring around the lens mount made things so much easier. It was built like a tank and had the smoothest film advance feel of any film Nikon I ever had, far smoother than the F2. I still have one and it still gets used.
