eric friedemann
I read on the Interweb that you could use Canon off-camera TTL cords with Fuji X cameras and flashes. I tried using a Canon off-camera TTL cord with an X100 and an EF-20 flash. It worked- I got perfect TTL flash exposures. Fuji hot shoes have the same pin placement as Canon hot shoes, except Canon hot shoes have one more pin. This is swell, since I can't find any Fuji X TTL cords. Then too, I read on the Interweb that Fuji uses Canon's TTL flash system. Not so- I tried a Canon flash on the X100 and it produced severe overexposure. Again, Canon has one more pin in its shoe configuration, and it's apparently an important one.
