stnoonan
I'm experiening a problem with my f100 that I haven't read about before.
At the end of a roll of film, the camera seemed to slip in to permanent self-timer mode. Every time I hit the shutter, the blinking light would come on, wiat ten seconds, then fire. I tried all firing modes (single, continuous high, low, multi) and it did the same thing every time.
I swapped batteries, changed film, remounted lenses (which relieved the problem for about six shots on a new roll before starting up again), cleaned contacts, and tried all focus modes without any luck.
I've had the camera since 2000, so it has seen some serious use, but it concerns me that I've only now experienced this problem. I've had the locking up and focus selector freezing issues when batteries ran low, but this problem seems unaffected by battery strength. Anyone seen this before?
Thanks,
Sean
www.stnphotography.com
