wazungi
Wonderful photos as always. Steve, your drop is magnificent.
It's easy to understand and empathize Matt's blue background frustration. Mine is from a local Beltane festival; one of only a few good shots given the conditions. And the background only went part way to the ground--lowering the camera even slightly would have revealed brightly lit open field. Hope you like it.

rogerwb
The neighborhood osprey nest is situated so that most activity is backlit from about noon time on. This one was taken with strong side light just before 11:00 today. Looks like the fellow in the lower left is being challenged for his lunch. This was totally unexpected, I was tracking him when four more osprey jumped into the action.

purplealien
Happy Wednesday everyone! Lots of inspirational pictures once again. I particularly enjoyed:
Tony's B&W sunset
Georg's football players (sorry, I can't bring my self to say "soccer" - its an English thing)
John D's secret canyon
Aguinaldo's fairground ride
and Roberta's red winged blackbird

It was a quiet week for me, so here's another of the photos I took in the oil-seed rape fields last month.

wendy_brissette
There are six new kids on the block... all born to one momma squirrel. Four of the young ones are the usual coloration for Eastern Grays. The remaining two are black, which is a very common variation of the Eastern Gray here in Warsaw, IN. They've been such fun to watch, I'll hate to see them go!
