hopalonghowie
Finally was able to replace my camera equipment that was stolen from my hotel room last spring.
All I have left of the lot (my Olympus E450 and Minolta 35mm were the victims) is a Five Star 500mm lens that currently has a mount on it for my Minolta 35mm and I just bought a Canon T3i is there a mount available so that I can use it on my new Canon or should I just put it on eBay and buy a new 500mm tube for it?
Regards
dennisgg
Yes, just search ebay for t-mount canon eos and you will find it. The Minolta one unscrews and screw the other one on. They are very cheap to buy.
JDMvW
If it is T-mount you can do as Dennis says.

Otherwise, Minolta is one of the exceptions to the "universal recipient" status of EOS EF mount (see http://www.bobatkins.com/photography/eosfaq/manual_focus_EOS.html ), and it cannot practically be adapted directly to EOS mounts.
