<p>It is a great idea. As one might expect, the current DC-area version of the event is a lot more buttoned-down. But at least there's something brewing:<br /><br /><a href="http://www.fotoweekdc.org/">http://www.fotoweekdc.org/</a><br /><br />That one happens in November. Which <em>is</em> a good month to have beer, Octoberfrest not withstanding.</p>

<p>As someone who lives near DC, and happens to like beer, I'm wondering what a bad month for beer might be, Matt? I'm thinking maybe that month between April and May would be one we could choose.</p>
