daniel_johnson6
I'm wondering--is this film more similar to E100G or E100VS? Or niether?
michaelging
I found it to be very saturated and rich with color, so I would say the E100VS
john_shriver
There were two Elite Chrome 100's, one was just "Elite Chrome 100" which is similar to E100G or perhaps E100GX. Then there was "Elite Chrome Extra Color 100", which was the consumer equivalent of E100VS.
E100G and E100GX were not shy in terms of color saturation. But E100VS was more "over the top", trying to compete with Velvia 50, but with less warped colors. (Velvia 50 greens are pretty funky.)
They are all discontinued, like all Ektachrome films.
anand_n._vishwamitran
Like E100G, only warmer with tasteful colors.
steve_lane2
This was my favorite film stock - such a shame it has been discontuned :-( Based on my experience, I would say it was more similar to G, but a tad warmer.
