alex_lofquist
Ken, I too have found many bicycle clerks completely oblivious of the characteristics and qualities of various frames and components. And, just like cameras, I had to search afield to find knowledgeable people to work with. I found a properly sized double-butted chrome moly frame which has lasted through wind, rain, and collisions, to this day. Now, I'm getting the D800 from a highly intelligent local dealer. prendy
Got a call mid morning, June 13th "We've got your D800 in the store." Doing a good imitation of a four minute mile I was in the store two seconds later and with a nonchalant "Where is it." I metaphorically cracked open the champagne.
My fist three pics were of some ladies in the office of a customer. I was surprised at the balance given all the different lighting, natural, fluorescent and possibly tungsten.
The bicycle analogy rings a bell too.
