michael_bradigan
Hi all. I just bought my first speedlight, SB-80DX. Am pretty happy with it so far and have done some fun experimenting, but since I live in Japan, I can't decipher the instruction manual! I ordered an English one, but they told me it may take up to a month to get it in. So, do any of you know if I can find/download one online? Or, if you want to be really nice, do you guys have any quick tips for me? If not, that's ok, I'm not offended! I'll just wait for my instruction manual and keep on flashing away. I love not knowing what I'm doing! Experimentation is fun. Getting bad pictures back from the developer's isn't that fun though. Thanks all, M.D.B. Jerry_
If you get into Tokyo, the Nikon service center in Shinjuku should have the manual in English...you may try taking the Japanese-language instructions and they will likely exchange it for you. Or try Yodabashi Camera.
alex_lofquist
I have been able to get manuals from Nikon USA. The prices are in the neighborhood of $5 a copy. Alex
