Uhooru
Hi, would love to see your one favorite pic for this week. I'll share a photo which received a critique that it evoked no feeling in the reviewer, had too many different type of trees and had bad light..... so I thought it would be the perfect photo to share. M7, Cron 35. Late afternoon in Chino, CA

tom_higgins3
Could we please nominate Barry Fisher for the "total fecking hero" award for keeping this lovely little thread alive week in week out? Where else would we go? Fair play Barry.

Alex_Es
I like everything. Really great shots this week. I think Barry is a hero. I wish the nice young people in my photograph will stop smoking before they get cancer and other diseases and put a further strain on Japan's already strained hospitals, which are suffering a shortage of doctors.

Craig, I am particularly drawn to your shot this week.
baisao
+1, Alex. Craig's photo has a lot of character. It speaks to the whole reason we, well, a lot of us, shoot rangefinders. It's intimate and spontaneous.

I also agree w/ you regarding young people smoking. I smoked for a decade and boy do I regret it now. Not because of any illness, but for letting something control my life for so long.

I’d also like to say thanks to Barry Fisher for keeping this thread going. I am new here but certainly appreciate having a forum to share my photos with like minded individuals.

If only I could share my LX5 pics…
Uhooru
Thx for the shootout Tom and Jim. I only mention the cam I use, because I'm starting the thread on the L and RFinder forum and its' a sop to that, but it really doesn't matter, besides the LX5 uses uses a Leica lens anyways. Come on show em..
baisao
Thanks, Barry. Here's one of my photos from the Lumix LX5. I am amazed at what a good camera it is: sharp, descreet, and capable.

This was shot using the 18mm Equivalent (35mm) wide angle lens, cropped to improve composition.

Oak

<a title="Oak by Baisao, on Flickr" href=" src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5170/5728939150_9475e0565e_z.jpg" alt="Oak" width="640" height="512" />
