Change workflow? Missing out on s.th.?

<p>Hi everybody,<br>

I have been using Lightroom for a long time for archiving, categorising, rating and adjusting pictures. I also had an ooooold Photoshop version that I rarely used. Now, I have bought Photoshop CS5 and I was going to keep using lightroom for the above mentioned workflow and using CS5 only for more advanced work. My question: Am I missing out on possibly important features if I do not use Camera Raw for importing and Bridge for archiving etc. Any advice? Thanks in advance.<br>

<p>Much as I dislike the 'messaging' world, I'm beginning to think that SMS (aka-'textese') may finally be the spelling reform that English has badly needed since the late 18th c. If so, brv</p>

<p>As I understand it, CS5 uses the same raw converter engine and very nearly the same user interface as Lightroom. I don't think there is any advantage to not continuing to use LR. Also LR is better than Bridge. No practical advantage there.</p>

<p>BTW, LR 4 will be out soon. The beta is available now. It has a different user interface. It seems more logical and simpler to me. It'll bring a nice, subtle change I think.</p>
