fld
Well, just when I least expected it, I have acquired three "new" old Pentax SLRs: An SF1, SF1n, and SF10. And they all work! Now looking them over to see if I can tell what actual diferences there are between them. So far, the only obvious difference is that the SF10 has a catch clasp for the battery compartment, whereas the other two have a screw-on battery holder. Anybody playg with these beasts? They sure are heavy for Pentax.

I have an old K1000, so I'd be of no help to you. But enjoy your find!
andrewg_ny
The 1 and 1n are similar, except the 1n has a better 1/4000 shutter, a backlight for the LCD, and auto bracketing. The -10 has a lower spec, I believe the viewfinder doesn't show speeds slower than 1/30 second, film ISO is DX-only, no exposure comp. I think also viewfinder diopter is fixed and there may be no continuous AF available, only standard AF.S (single shot). Yes, the bodies are a little big and noisy, but I still kind of like them. I have a few of these here too.
