Is there more information to recover in a 1 stop overexposed highlight or a 1 stop underexposed shadow?</em><br> I find that boosting shadows 1 stop with "Levels" is never a problem - with highlights, when they're gone, they're gone! bill_tuthill Posted October 24, 2011 Share Posted October 24, 2011 Sorry to detour this thread, but I can't resist asking about the Kevin Kubota video. The second example makes Lightroom look useful, but his first example improved the image very little, and could likely have been done more easily with the Curves dialog in Photoshop.
