bill_burke1
Is it possible to receive free album samples from any company? If not, I assume a discount could apply - if that were the case, how much of a discount could I expect?
eric merrill
Depends on the company.

Have you gotten any responses back from the album companies you emailed?
bill_burke1
I haven't contacted them as of yet - I didn't want to seem like a nut if this was something they absolutely don't do.
micah_robinson
They do it. 50% off is pretty typical.
They have rules you have to follow to get it though, so make sure you do.
One such rule might be "must say 'sample' on front in at least 30 pt font."
craig_shearman1
I believe I bought sample albums from Taprell-Loomis via their Crown Products distributor years ago. As Micah says I believe it was half off but they did have sample or some other marking if my memory is correct. Googled both recently and Taprell has a web site but directs actual orders to dealers, and I couldn't find Crown online.
