andylynn
Now the Series E lens. (Note these are scaled down, not cropped, and focused on the tick marks right about "minutes".)

rick_montgomery1
Definitely a Nikon FE or FE2. Lightweight, great meters and plenty of great lenses to pick from.
brett_rogers
A Zeiss Ikon Contaflex Super BC or S is an interesting and beautifully made alternative to the Japanese offerings. You can get 35mm, 85mm & 115mm Pro Tessar lenses in addition to the excellent standard 50mm f/2.8 Tessar. The 85mm is the choice for portraits. Zeiss offered some quality Proxar lenses for the Contaflex for close up work. The Super BC & S offer TTL metering and shutter priority auto exposure as well as full manual. The hardest part is finding a good working example. If you can and are happy with the lens options they are a joy to use and beautifully finished in the best German tradition. Top shutter speed is only 1/500, but it is a leaf shutter with full flash sync and is very, very smooth. No instant return mirror, however magazine backs are available for mid-roll film changes without the loss of a single frame; I use several myself.
machts gut
I vote for the Olympus OM-4ti. Simple, small camera with a sophisticated metering system. Offers spot metering, that you know from your Leica.
red_robin
Mark !!!!!! Your already using the best! It may be hard for you now but you may be in danger!!! JUST PUT DOWN the SLR, put it down now and step away. I may have just saved you thousands in camera costs. How about a nice Bessa R?
