thomas_mulder Posted October 24, 2011 Share Posted October 24, 2011 <p>What would be the work flow for HDR - Color Infrared?<br> I have Canon Digital Photo Professional, Lightroom 3, Photomatix and PS CS5.<br> Would it be best to:<br> 1) Merge them from Lightoom into Photomatix.<br> 2) Then over into Canon Photo Professional.<br> 3) Then Photoshop CS5 for the channel mixer and some other editing<br> 4) And then finally back into Lightroom for some finally editing.</p> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jonsjons Posted October 25, 2011 Share Posted October 25, 2011 <p>hi thomas, i've found when working on infrared hdr shots that i can get different looks by altering the point at which i do the channel swapping with the channel mixer in photoshop (if i swap the red and blue channels at all). sometimes i will open the raw images into photoshop, swap the channels, save the resulting files, and then merge them in photomatix....at other times i'll use photomatix first and the channel mixer later. i'd experiment and see what works best for you. i hope that helps a little.</p> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
