daniel flather
Hi,

I want to go to Lion and want to know if DPP works with Lion. I did a search on the internets and can't seem to find anything too current. What does the EOS forum have to say?

Thanks.

JDMvW
EOS Utility works with OS X.7.1, and DPP 4.1.1 does, as I just now found out.
It didn't work when I first installed Lion. I guess they were too busy to redo it before it actually broke. Apple gave them so little warning--only a couple of years, in fact. Anyhow, somehow, without my actually taking any direct action, the problem fixed itself.

Did DPP phone home to Mama without telling me? It sort of looks like it.
JDMvW
I should rather have said that the DPP now "opens" under Lion. I haven't had a chance to actually use it for anything, but I did discover that the PictureStyleEditor opens, but maybe does not work?
No time now to play with them further.
JDMvW
Later: the version I have does actually work under Lion, not just open.
The icon is different than it was before, but I definitely did not consciously download any update from Canon.
Shades of Windows 98™! Bill always wanted to help me out, regardless of how I had set the update options.
