apershin
After locking the AF with exposure lock button (*) I can lock the exposure with shutter release button (with CF4 is set to 1). But the exposure will be locked on which AF sensor? the central one? Does CF 8 and / or the metering mode set change something?
If i want to re-lock the exposure after half-pressing the sutter release, how can i do it without waiting 6 sec?
Thank you
ben_rubinstein___mancheste
It will be locked to whatever focus point you have chosen if CF8 is activated. To re-lock let go of the shutter release and do another half press.
eosdoc
Additionally, E-TTL metering will follow the active focus sensor, but there is no way to invoke Flash Exposure Lock (FEL) when using CF4=1 or CF4=2. Reason enough to leave CF4=0 on my Elan 7e
