<p>Just out of curiosity, it being a press camera is it physically much smaller then a Toyo-view Field 4x5?</p>

<p>Dean, Yes, they are a tad smaller than the Toyo folders, but what you lose in size, you make up for in weight. They are little tanks, but really nicely made. There are a number of press cameras I've thought about buying, but I didn't think the format made sense to me.</p>

<p>I had the VH-R. The quality of the camera is excellent but the camera is heavy for it's size. Not much lighter than the Linhof Master Technika I now use. Since weight is almost the same, it makes more sense to use a 4x5 camera. With a 4x5 camera you can shoot 4x5 or 6x9, 6x7, 6x12 and now even 6x17. More versatile therefore.</p>

<p>There is one Horseman 6x9 camera that is a lot smaller AND lighter than 4x5... the Horseman VH, which lacks the viewfinder/rangefinder mechanism of the VHR. The VH plus 3 lenses and 2 film backs fits in a bag I normally use for a D3 with normal and 24-70 zoom lens.</p>
