rodeo_joe1
Glad to see this thread hasn't completely gone to the dogs this week! I've only counted four so far - Sorry Matt, I know they're your favourite subject.

Seriously, a great and varied selection of shots, and I hope mine comes up to standard. The muse of composition must have been smiling on me this week, since everything came together in quite a few shots taken at our local Arts festival. Here's one of them, which I hope raises a smile.

D700 + Tamron 28-75 @ 75mm ....blah, blah, blah (read the exif if you care enough).

janahughes
Dean Schreuder: good point, I will play with the photo in a photoshop and will separate the jacket and the hat from the background a little bit more. Thank you for kindly taking the time to critique my photo, I very much appreciate your feedback.

richbodiesgym
Hi fellow Nikonistas, great bunch of pics for this Nikon Wednesday. My pic is from Cape Cod, Ma. several days after Tropical Storm Irene came through the Cape (downgraded by the time it got to the Cape). On Old Silver Beach, had 3-5' surf on this day.

pauldmurphy
Hello all, I've missed the past couple weeks here( working too much) but took some time off last weekend and attended the South African Food and Wine Festival at Grayhaven Vineyard in Gum Springs, Virginia. We had a wonderful time with great food, wine and entertainment which included traditional songs, amazing tap dancing by a man that studied under Gregory Hines and some dancing by this guy and his friends.

Matt Laur
Shun: you know how I feel about hard working dogs, so you know that was the highest of compliments!
