wmervine
Greetings all.
I got to join a local photo walkers outing last sunday through the CBD of Johannesburg. 40+ togs swarming through town on a sunday morning did cause some curious glances and minor panic for a film crew trying to shoot a car ad.
This is a stamp mill that was originally brought in for gold mining in 1886 and now resides in front of the head office of one of the local mining companies. In use it was driven by a steam engine and used to break up the gold bearing ore.

User_2019667
Good Wednesday morning to all. Some great shots this morning. Matt I have been using that method of starting charcoal for some time and as you say it beats that smelly fluid all to heck. As long as we have a car show going on this morning I thought I may as well add to the mix. Went to a cruise in last week and liked the color on this 1928 ? Ford.

r1a2d3ok
Spent a couple of hours at a new butterfly garden in our area. I had to wait for 1.5 hours for this guy to land. His body color was so different. Real hot at the park. Had to sweat for this one. Saw about 100 butterflies. Swallowtails never seem to stop moving.
