Want Pentax 645 historical info

<p>I've been looking all over the web for a decent article on the history of the Pentax 645 line but haven't found much of anything. Any clues?</p>

<p>There's a little bit in the reviews of these cameras on Ken Rockwell's site. I'm not sure I'd call it a "decent article on the history", but if you can't find anything else...</p>

<p>Thanks Andrew and Jeff. I should have been clear in my OP that I already knew about Rockwell's article. I've also checked out the pentaxforums and the luminous landscape article.<br>

As you mentioned Jeff, the pentaxforums site doesn't seem to have much detailed info about the 645 and the luminous landscape site is about the 645NII...<br>

Thanks for the hints though, and I'll keep looking.</p>
