Hasselblad Synch Cord question

<p>I recently bought a Nikon Speedlight (SB28x) with the hope of using it as a off camera flash with my 501cm and 80mm Planar. I bought a long synch lead (10m) which is 'female to male'. the port on the lens is female so I can attach it no problem but then the port on my nikon flash is also female ? what should i purchase next to solve this problem, is there a simple adaptor i can get that will allow me to attach to the speedlight?<br>

apologies if this is a rather obvious question, flash set-up is new to me.<br>

It shouldn't be difficult to find a cord in the UK. If not locally, then shops like Ffordes will have plenty.

<p>However, let's just clear up that what you need is male to male. There is female on the camera and flash, you need the male on each end. 8-))</p>

<p>If possible, for the Hassy side of the cord, you want a "long tip" male connection. </p>

<p>You can't find female to female because nobody makes them because nobody needs them.</p>

<p>I dont know if you found what you need but I've found flash zebra has a large selection of cables and they respond to questions quickly. <br>

god that sounds awfully like a spam message that I always get on my blogs, sorry but its true. </p>
