I was going to the kitchen (the room at the end of the corridor) when I visualized the scene; swollen curtains, diffused light over the prints at the wall...

I tried to catch that atmosphere with my D700 @ 200ISO, 14-24AFS (16mm), 1/60sec. - f2.8. If I`m sincere, I have to say that I don`t like the result.

4th of July night we had a bad thunderstorm blow through right before dark. Only lasted 15 minutes then this beautiful rainbow showed up and we had fireworks and no rain.
Hello, late in the game :) Nice pics everyone!
Hadn't taken any Nikon gear out in over a week, then what I thought was an interesting sky over the lake turned into this. A few minutes later I was running for cover from the rain, not wanting to test the weather seal on the D7000 quite as much.

Here's a composite I created a couple of years ago. A nice block on Beacon Hill caught my eye, but I wanted a very wide scene, so I shot a series with 20mm f/2.8 to create the composite. With so many pixels, it prints very nicely at 40" wide. Yes, that's a tow truck on the right.

Spent my Wednesday out in the sun so.. better late than never right? Took the pup to a lake nearby to have some fun in the water. Had a lot of more serious shots but just enjoy this one a lot. He had a blast and so did my wife and I. Celebrated the coming of summer. Finally.

00Z0OG-377359584.JPG.8dfa6e71d508c7744c28c036c4270ac1.JPG
