K-5 Firmware 1,10.....

<p>Has anybody installed this new firmware ?</p>

<p>.......and if so noticed any changes to the camera "behavior" or is it simply just an update for the new add-on GPS module...</p>

<p>I have 1,03 in my camera and cannot personally find any reason to purchase this GPS module so I will not update my camera to this new FW 1,10 if it's only an update for this GPS module....</p>

<p>Looks like the USA is only current to version 1.03 as of this moment. 1.1 must be European or Asian only right now(?).<br>

<p>Please, note the additional footnote regarding the 1.10 firmware: "Contents of [Version 1.03] will be also updated." Sounds promising.<br /> However, it is a pity to say that I see no reports on the web yet confirming anything more than the addition of GPU items in the menu. Then I mean improvements regarding bad low-light AF and overexposure with bounced external flashes. Well folks, still I refuse to lose my hope that Pentax will address these issues within reasonable time !?</p>
