<p>I know there are a few posts on this topic, but nothing recent so I thought I'd ask! I've been using simple photo for my proofing gallery, which was great when I didn't sell a ton of prints! I've been selling a lot more and the 15% commission seems really high. I know there are some sites that I can host myself (picturespro.com) but I don't really like the interface. Does anyone know of any other software that I can host on my own server and use paypal with? I do my own printing through WHCC as I like to be able to control the crops of my photographs so I don't really want anything that just does it for me!</p>

<p>Do you want to sell through the site or just use it for proofing. Zenfolio is great for both. You can sell through (it uses MPIX for fulfilling print orders) or use it just as a proof gallery. You also have the ability to approve orders and handle the crops yourself.<br>

Another nice feature is the ability to set custom pricing to make up for the commission fees. The only snag would probably be hosting it on your own server. I'm pretty sure you can't do that with Zen.</p>

<p>Is there anything about he site that may be contributing to your increased sales? Perhaps ease of use for the consumer, image quality, shipping and/or payment methods? I would be careful not to "rock the boat" when things are going so well for you.</p>
