martindomok
Hello all.
I have a job comming up and I decided to buy a light for it.
I have been playing with the idea of a single light, that I could use both inside and outside (own power and portable). Outside for wedding portraits and normal portraits, inside for whatever comes up.
Looked and found this:
http://www.quantuum.pl/detal.php?id=1583&lang=gb&curr=EUR
I think 600 Ws would be sufficient for most jobs... I'd like to know how does this light performs in the field, opinions or recommendation for some other, similar products. This Quantuum is priced 358 Euro and I will need to buy a tripod and difuser.
Thanks for help.
marc_batters
The modeling light does not appear to be adjustable, seems underpowered at only 150 watts, and is only operational when plugged into the wall, not powered from the battery pack.
The 4 1/2 hour recharge time is acceptable, but only 90 flashes at full 600 watt seconds is not. IMO
If your budget would allow 600-650 euro's, I would suggest looking at an Einstein head, or White Lighting head, and a Vagabond power pack from Paul C. Buff.

http://paulcbuff.eu.com/cms/
