Hey Theo, thanks for the pic, looks good!

On the lens de-yellowing, just the front element is covered in foil. The lens is placed on the window ledge and tilted against the south facing window with the back (mount) side of the lens up and facing out. Aperture is fully open. I put some support strips of paper around the lens, held with masking tape to support it an prevent accidental falling. Thats it. the foil is there just so light can bounce back up through the lens. 6-8 weeks later...clear lens. I imagine this would vary depending how yellow/brown it was when you started.

I took the 135 f3.5 SC for a walk after fixing the diaphragm issue - I will spare you the pictures of my shed door - needless to say, I looked at the neg, I can't see an issue. There was a bunch of "trying the lens out" shots, which frankly sucked as images, but proved the lens to be a very worthy performer. It only failed once, when it was pointed directly into the sun behind a subject - veiling flare almost completely obliterated the image. Anyhow - it is after all a "portrait" lens, so here is a "portrait" - I believe this was shot at f4 or there abouts, film is black's 100asa, scan is from a 4x6 on my all in one...

00Yq3G-365967584.jpg.e6718cf0d24644c1a1c46e6daf67f9ae.jpg
