Good Morning,
Matt L., Loved the reflections
Alex Z., Captivating shot of the timing chain
I waited for the rain to stop and the sun to peek out for this shot of prickley pear cactus flowers.

Rufous Hummingbird. D200, 300 mm, 1.4x TC. Thank you to those who commented on my image last week. Thank you to Shun Cheung for mentioning my church photography. Your comments are appreciated. This time of year it's hard to pull myself away from the hummers. They are out in force at our local arboretum and they are beautiful little creatures.

00YYlh-347793684.jpg.a25f1890cd3c1b0e85d24069a1d7ad2f.jpg

jf zhang: what a remarkable picture!
Phil Burt: I like your bull portrait, especially the processing.

We traveled to San Antonio again last weekend for a gymnastics meet. The meet was titled the Fiesta Challenge, and each team "marched in" carrying a pinata. After march-in, I spotted the pinatas carefully arranged on a mat, surrounded by the chaos of the crowded gym.

00YYnE-347825584.jpg.7b0d5c6a1707249acff022d850f85188.jpg

Hamish: Great spider shot
Doug Rice: Good job with the pole vault. How did you do it?
Doug Santo: Another great hummingbird shot. So far have only seen one hummingbird this far north this year.
This is a photo of an old one room school house waiting to be restored. There are many like this in our county.

00YYoB-347841684.jpg.3e22e08e4957a9053b3745c473e6aff0.jpg

My first Nikon Wednesday post. This was taken at Wakadahatchee Wetlands Preserve near Boynton Beach, FL. This guy had no fear at all and allowed me to get within about 5 feet of him as he stood on a boardwalk railing.

Bill Nelson,
I'm afraid it was a tedious process. Basically I selected the athlete in each frame, copied him and piled them all into one frame. It is much easier if the subject isn't overlapping in different frames. For that case, try a youtube search for muliplicity tutorial in photoshop.
Thanks and best wishes,
Doug
