H Sue,
Watching ebay on a regular base is still your best bet i think, thoss hoods seem to show up every few weeks..

In the mean time , if you realy need a lenshood for your 20mm F4 ( thats wat the Hn-14 is for isn't it ?), you could go for a wide angle version of a 52mm screw-fit rubber lens hood i guess..

I think Jim meant to post this link:
http://www.photosynthesis.co.nz/nikon/accessory.html#20

The HK-3 is probably an even tougher find than the HN-14. The HK-6 clamp-on hood (for 52mm 20/3.5) should also fit, but it's not exactly common either, although it's probably easier to find than the HN-14.

The HN-1 (for 24mm) is very easy to find used and is in fact still available new. It should work without vignetting on a 20mm Nikkor lens as long as a filter is not mounted (Nikon screw-in hoods are "conservative"). With a filter you will probably see slight corner vignetting at some distances on FX or 35mm, although slim filters may not vignette. I can stack two Nikon L37c filters (3.5mm each) on a AiS 24/2.8 with the HN-1 and not get any corner vignetting on 35mm, so you might get away with one slim filter on a 20mm f/4.

You could give Gray's of Westminster a call - they had an HK-3 ready to send out the same day (in mint condition) which was 25 Pounds. The HK-3 clamps on and does not use the filter threads meaning polarisers may be used without a problem.
