gnashings
Nah, we will never see a beautiful digicam, beauty comes from within, and digicams are dead inside :D Ok, I am joking.. or not... I am that much of a grumpy luddite ;)
jodys
Very, very nice. I'm not going to buy one, but I admit I was tempted for a few moments. I also like the side-by-side prints that tell a story... if you could be sure that the lab would print the correct pairs, that is!
drpath
I've got a Demi EE17 too. Years back, one popped up on the Canon rangefinder saved search I haunt on a certain auction site. I could not resist its seductive beauty. The surprise, as Dmitri's excellent photos show, is how much image quality it packs into its half frames. The only defect is its complete lack of strap lugs. I guess they thought they would mess up its beautiful lines. I had to get a klutzy screw in strap for the tripod socket so I could hold onto the Demi's beautiful curves.
I look at mine and think: I want a digital Demi. Half frame sensor, sharp fast lens, and maybe at least one strap lug this time.
