jgredline
A very nice series, but number 4 stole the show...I love it!. I would be very interested in details such as equipment used?

starvy
This is the city my father was born in during the early 1940s. I have not visited for over 30 years so your pictures reinforced some of the images I had. Would love to see some more pictures from this series.

rparmar
I will definitely link with you on Flickr. Lovely work. I must say that I am not fond of the selective colour technique used in the first image but otherwise that is a classic.
anirbanbanerjee
Thanks everyone.
Equipment used: my recently acquired Tamron 28-75 2.8 and the ancient Pentax K100D.

Except the last one, I took them all through Nik Color Efex Pro for the sepia tint and highlight and shadow adjustment.

I didn't do much sharpening adjustments, except some little local contrast enhancement in key areas.

I sold my Pentax 16-45 for the Tamron. I really like the FL on this lens. I use the 50-75mm lengths a lot. Yeah, I miss the 24mm equivalent at the short end and plan to get the Pentax 12-24 someday.
sfcole
I like the photos, but I think they can stand by themselves in B&W. I personally find software sepia to be an affectation that doesn't add anything.
anirbanbanerjee
Scott: I tend to agree with you. I admit I've been affected too much by Stieglitz's Camera Work.
Selective colouring (first image) is something I'll avoid in future... it's a gimmick that doesn't work.
