mark_mandell
Great stuff so far! But then, what else did I expect here?
I'm still "on the beach" but this time going a bit abstract. On this section of sand is writ the day's passings. In the morning the tide and surf will have wiped it smooth and clean, ready for a new day. It was also an opportunity to see how good the D700 is at high ISO
D700 @ ISO 6400, 24-85 @30mm f/5, hand-held @ 1/100 sec. lisae
Beautiful pictures today. Finlay, I love your geese photo - beautiful color and composition.

We had 4 days of ice and snow last week in North Texas. It was quite a treat for us but kept us indoors. The kids and I spent some time setting up and photographing old Peeps in distressing situations. Ultimately, all the Peeps escaped and we had an hour of fun.

purplealien
More great shots this week. I particularly love your glitter/water shot Roberta!

It's be mostly grey and damp in the UK, so I've continued with my portrait practice. This week it was Merlin's turn to be my model.

I'm particularly pleased with this one. It's the first time I've used layers.

karissa_walker
Greetings to all on this chill Wednesday afternoon. Some fabulous work this week -- I have quite a number of favourites so far: Caillum Smith, Epp B, Dieter Schaefer, Jeannean, L. Roth, Ray Gosalia, Roberta Davidson, Fi Rondo and Eric Arnold. Can't wait to check back later and see what else has been put up.
Like a number of others, I prefered to shoot inside this week.
