adrian douglas
I'm in Japan and my users manual is in Australia and I want to know if the spot metering can be slaved to any of the five focus points of is it just centered.
dfdncithekxlbn8kaglf33
Yes, but you have to use a single point and have CF 15 turned on.
www.philwinterphotography.
I don't have my user's manual in front of me, but I think you have to manually select (versus eye control or auto) the focal point (using the wheel by the shutter release) if you want to move the spot meter to coincide with the focal point. cliff_henry
Adrian, Chris & Phil are both correct. I just checked my manual. CF 15 must be on and to link spot metering to focus point, focus point must be selected by user. Cliff
adrian douglas
Thanks guys. Do any of you know where I can download an EOS 5 manual. I tried Canon UK but their archive site is still under construction.
