<p>As part of my son's (the goalie) local youth hockey program he got to play a game at the Bank Atlantic Center (Florida Panther's Arena) last Friday.</p><div></div>

<p>The other evening I walked to the top of 'A' Mountain in Tempe, Arizona - this is the butte in downtown with the large concrete 'A' on it for ASU. Couldn't resist the snap of this young lady and her father watching the sunset from the top. While there made the acquaintance of a man newly here from China to do graduate studies at ASU - he was pretty interested in my camera and when we got to talking he commented somewhat apologetically that he'd recently bought a Canon. There were no fisticuffs, and we are now email buddies making plans to go take some photos one day soon.</p><div></div>

<p>Typical November weather (wet) has returned to Oregon. Not so long ago (July, in fact), this three-year-old was swingin' in the sunshine.</p><div></div>

<p>Spent a couple of days in mid-Wales to photograph autumn colours - so here's the result, a b+w waterfall. Subjects rule. Great photos in this thread, as usual.</p><div></div>

<p>Looking at these shots, is such a great way to start the day.<br>

Mine is a close up of a chrysanthemum with a drop of morning due. The sun was shinning right through the drop . I loved the spark of light on the flower. Hope you enjoy</p>

My photo today is from Halloween. We had a "Trunk & Treat" at our church and this young lady dressed up as an sophisticated "Older" lady. She really looks great for a 12 year old. I am hoping I did her a little justice with this photo. <br>

I used my Nikon D90, Sigma 24-70@42mm, f6.3, 1/160,iso 200, flash and hand held.<br>

Looking forward to all of the wonderful photos today.<br>

<p>I dropped my 17-55mm 2.8 zoom on some rocks last week and it is now stuck at 20mm. I will eventually send it to Nikon to get fixed but in the meantime, will move my feet instead of zooming.</p><div></div>
