douglas_cummings
Can anyone check their flash to see if you can set the HSS mode "manually" w/o attaching it to the camera? The Nikon SB 28 requires you to attach it to a dedicated camera to set it to FP mode(same as Metz's HSS) I of course understand that only certain cameras can be used with HSS. jackflesher
It may be different for other systems, but with the 3102 Canon adapter on my 54MZ3 I have to have the flash mounted on the camera to access E-TTL HSS or M HSS.
peza
Has to be mounted.
john_collier2
It has to be mounted but it can be mounted via a TTL cable. Both Nikon and Contax cables will work fine.
