raymond_palmer
Does anyone have any experience with Maine foliage this year? I've looked at the foliage network, but it's always better to hear from the source. I'm travelling through NH and Maine (across from Rutland VT), all the way to the coast around Acadia then will range up and down.
Thanks
Ray

Edwin Barkdoll
I was out yesterday and today around 10 miles from Acadia, as the crow flies. I would say we are pretty close to peak with moderately good colors. Unfortunately, for leaf watchers, we have had some strong winds in the past week or so and more leaves are down than usual. Some of the smaller shrubs/plant which are often very colorful are not as good as usual - for example blueberry barrens and sumac. Test
