Lou_Meluso
A extremely nice example of an F and elegant standard eye level finder, with the proper Nikkor-S Lens. I enjoyed the photos especially the Canoe on the Wabash River.
Andy Collins
Thanks everyone for such great comments! This was really a fun event to shoot, one that I'd been looking forward to for quite some time just to use a classic camera and capture the color. Ralf, the leaves have in fact started to change so it'll be time to get out and start capturing the fall colors this weekend. I'll head back down to the Wabash in a few days to give then a chance to grow even more colorful.
Rick vN--Here's a serious lapse in authenticity I caught with my dslr. It used to be that all of the participants had to only engage in authentic behaviors and activities throughout the entire weekend, but if that is still the case, this soldier doesn't seem to know.

red_buckner
Coincidentally, I was seized with Nikon F fever yesterday and dug out my old F with its plain prism and original 50mm 1.4 series S. Exactly the setup you chose to use. I took it out today and started blasting. Must be something in the air.
