thomas_lozinski
After trying some large format I really want a tilt lens for my D90. Can anyone recommend a lens or combination of lens/ adapter. I can't afford the Nikons. I like to shoot wide. I know auto exposure and focus are not going to work. I do not need shift.
CvhKaar
You could google / ebay for a Russian "ARSAT ARAN" lens i guess..... ( do not have one, also no xpreience whit that one)
Also posible : "Hartblei Tilt" adapter for Kiev lenses on Nikon , in that cas you still need a Kiev or Pentacon lens, but those are often cheap on Ebay...
sjoerd_leeuwenberg
Hi,
I am not sure about this, but a small warning may be in order.
I think the Nikon T/S lenses do not have enough clearance underneath the D90 flash.
Don't know about any third party lenses.
Can someone confirm?
mart_e
I asked a similar query on compatibility on the 24mm T+S lens (re D90 + D700)

link is here as it may be relevant here too:
http://www.photo.net/nikon-camera-forum/00Vtgg
Ran out of cash before making the investment mind you, still 'on my list'

Martin
iso200
The 24mm T/S certainly doesn't have enough clearance for either a D200 or a D700.
ShunCheung

The 24mm T/S certainly doesn't have enough clearance for either a D200 or a D700.

I assume you are referring to Nikon's 24mm/f3.5 PC-E lens. All functionalities of that lens are available on the D700. The D700's viewfinder overhang will block that lens in some orientations, but the same functionalities are available if you rotate the lens by 180 degrees and it'll work fine.

The D200's viewfinder, however, prevents the 24mm PC-E from reaching the maximum amount of shift. See the thread Mart E. links to.

In the OP's situation, if tilt is important, I would just buy a large-format camera and shoot film. It'll be hard to find a good T/S lens for the D90.
