Raw download and print from D-90

I installed the Nikon View NX program and was able to download the Raw images from my D90 card. The

problem now is I can't transfer them to Photo Shop or even print them from the Nikon program. I can hwever print

photos from other files othen than the one I just downloaded(Raw). Photos are great color and resolution but I can't

print them. Any ideas?</p>

Which version of View NX are you using?

<p>Why would you transfer the pictures to PS. Just open bridge and open the pics in the ACR(Adobe Camera Raw), make your corrections and convert to PS. Save as JPEG or TIFF and print from PS.</p>

<p>PS I can print NEFs from ViewNX2</p>

<p>You need to specify what version of Photoshop you have. If it's earlier than CS3 (?) it will not recognise the D90 .NEF file as the D90 had not been released when that version of Photoshop was around.</p>

<p>I have View 1.01 and use Photo Shop 6.</p>

<p>You can download the ACR converter from adobe, make them into .dng files and they do pretty well importing into older PS versions.</p>

<p>I'd just save out tiffs from ViewNX.</p>

You might want to download View NX2.01 from , this will also re-instal Transfer 2, and the NEF (RAW) support file for Windows ( or Apple ) environments. Transfer and simple (raf) adjustments can then be done straight from VIEWNX..</p>
