smugmug "share" feature

<p>i just found this out, but smugmug "share" feature allows visitors to email themselves pictures where then they can then right click and save or copy. so selection "yes" in the settings for protection only disables right click and save on the smugmug site. you have to turn off sharing in settings so folks won't have a way to get around the right click. of course they could always do a screen print, but at least their not getting the file.</p>

No matter what you do, if the user can view the photo they can get the photo. Nothing a website can do will stop that. For the user to see it, the file has to be sent to them. Once they are viewing your website it is already on their hard drive.<br>

A watermark is the only thing to help with that part, but watermarks should be kept tasteful to appear professional (size, transparancy, etc.).</p>
