Cleaning a F standard prism?

I just intended to clean a F standard prism, some fungus in the eyepiece, but somehow it does not come apart,<br>

searched the web and nothing appeared.</p>

<p>Have you removed the leatherette on the top and around the eyepiece? The screws are underneath.</p>

<p>Just a suggestion, but unless you really know what you are doing, I <em><strong>would not </strong></em>go about taking prisms apart, especially one as old as an F. Leave it to a properly trained and equipped repairman. If you damage something or throw the prism or metering cells out of alignment, you have screwed yourself.</p>

it was little difficult because of the tiny (some of them not magnetic) screws, but it turned out perfect!<br>

I did NOT disassemble the prism mounting, just cleaned the eyepiece and the "pupil" of the prism, which had developed some nasty fogging, now it is perfectly clean and brilliant!</p>
