CS2 plugin

<p>You are going to need a newer version of CS than what you have. There are no updates that will allow you to open D300 files with CS2....An alternative would be to download Adobe's DNG converter & convert the D300 files into the DNG format, then you would be able to process them in CS2. Adds more steps to your work flow, but you wouldn't have to spend more money for the upgrade to a newer version of CS</p>

<p>If you are looking for a more basic version of PS that handles raw files well, you would also do well to check into Lightroom. You can download and install and evaluate it before you buy it!</p>

<p>The DNG thing works well, too. I did that for a while to great effect.</p>

<p>You can download ViewNX2 free from Nikon and use it to convert the NEF raw files to TIFF and open those in CS2</p>

<p>Only problem with Tiff files is that they are huge....If you go that route I hope you have lots of room on your hard drive....</p>
