sending TIFs from bridge to camera raw

<p>I have adobe CS5. When I'm in bridge, if I right click on a TIF thumbnail, one of the choices I have is "open in camera raw". This is a nice option to have if I wish to send back a TIF file back to raw for one last adjustment. However, I noticed that when I right click on certain TIF thumbnails, it doesn't offer me the choice "open in camera raw". Is there any reason why certain TIF files do not allow this option? thanks.</p>

<p>Thanks for the reply Colin. I figured it out. If its a TIF where there are multiple layers and they have not been flattened, it won't work. If I flatten, its ok.</p>

<p>ACR CAN open layered TIFFs but not when hosted by Bridge. Using Open as Raw in Photoshop will open a layered TIFF into ACR for edit (this iteration being flattened). </p>
