eos 10 fan
[1] I've been thinking of buying a ND grad for my 17-35mm f/2.8L and I'm wondering if a trimmed Cokin P holder is big enough or if an X- Pro is required. I will be using the ND grad with a C-PL at times. [2] Also, for those who've upgraded from the 17-35 to the 16-35: Did you have to change your Cokin filter holder? Thanks. --
dfdncithekxlbn8kaglf33
I'd seriously look into the Lee of Hi-Tech system for such a perspective. Sure, they are more, but once you make the investment, you have a great system, and the Hi-Tech filters for a more than decent rpice given thier top-notch status. ron_karpel
I haven't used the Cokin holder, but the 16-35 vignettes even with a single polarizer unless it's the thin version without the front thread, so I am not sure how you are going to get the cokin holder on that. It has a rear filter holder which I have used for warming filters, but I am not sure how to use this with a ND grad.
paulo bizarro
I use the Cokin P-holder in my 16-35, but I have cut-off the front slots, keeping just one. Usable with a Singh-Ray soft grad from 20mm onwards.
