john_wolf2
I wanted to share that I just posted my completed 2010 SoFoBoMo PDF project on a street/beach theme.
Have a look at it on the SoFoBoMo web site. Give it fifteen seconds or so to open. Comments welcome, as always.
John
fate_faith_change_chains
Overall I liked the series / book. The processing and toning fits the subject in some of the images perfectly, but then in some other instances it leaves me wanting for a bit more contrast.
I think the work as a whole could also benefit with some empty seascape / beachscape's images thrown in, devoid of any people. And perhaps a little bit more editing.
Check this link out, which you might find interesting in the context of further "publishing" your project :
http://www.viewbookphotostory.com/

charlie_didrickson1
Hi John,

I agree with the others regarding the editing. That said, you have some real gems in there and "could" be the start of a wonderful series. Being from Chicago I can say with certainty that a couple 2-3 of those are not at the beach at all! ;-)

Very nice.
john_wolf2
Thanks, everyone. I agree about the editing. I wanted to reduce it by another 10 or so pictures, but couldn't decide and the deadline came. Lame excuse, I know.

Charlie, I think there are two pictures at the park across the street from the beach. Close enough for my intention, and at least somewhat in the spirit of beach life.

Again, thanks for responding.

John
