We've reached image number 4 million and gone well beyond it. The user who uploaded the 4 millionth image is Bradley Linton for his image "IMG_9269". Bradley wins a lifetime (100 years) subscription to photo.net and all the joys of arguing with my ghost to get that subscription extended once the 100 years are over. Good luck Bradley, my ghost is destined to be even more grumpy than I am, if such a thing is possible.

The winner of the "Should have been here yesterday" prize is Ameet Savant for his image "IMG_9434.JPG". Ameet wins a year subscription to photo.net. Better luck next time Ameet, but at least you are free from having to debate me in the afterlife!

There's something oddly gratifying about being listed in the group that almost made it, but being the most-didn't-make-it guy in that group. I'd like to think that the odds of that happening are just as long as being Mr. Four Million, except now I get to keep paying for my membership: which I am very glad to do. And I mean that. This place deserves our continued support. Congrats to the two winners!

Congratulations to the winners. Thanks Josh… it was really an enjoyable fun contest. I’m glad to see that one of my images has come in the list of 75 images leading up to the 4 millionth. For a fun, we should get at least one month’s free subscription. At least you should consider the case of Suciu Sorin. Best regards.

Haha, that was fun! Congrats to the winners. Been off on vacation this week and have been watching the numbers. Think there was 300 photos to go and my wife wanted to do something fun (I know, what could be more fun than watch the numbers climb on PN), so we went to a winery and tasted wine. Came back an hour or so later and we were 4 million plus 600 photos past. The contest was really fun. Looking forward to Photo 5 million.

Cheers, Mark

Congratulations to all, esp. Bradley.
Also, I cannot access the came-close to winning URL anymore. This one:
http://www.photo.net/contests/four-millionth-photo-contest-winners
It gives a "Server Error" saying "The requested URL cannot be accessed due to a system error on this server."

Hmmmm, no idea why that is happening. I will ask Jin to look into it.

There is a woman somewhere in the world today who is over 140 years old. So if Bradley is 40 years of age or younger, the 100 years of free subscription may not live up to the "lifetime" commitment...:)...just pointing out the possibility.

Hello All,
I want to thank Josh Root and everyone who's congratulated the winners. It was quite a thrill I have to say.

Oh and to Victor, I'm 27, so I fully anticipate engaging Josh's ghost in contractual renegotiations.
