bob jr.
Hi!
My photographer friend was recently shooting with her 5D, and about 10-15 of the Small JPG digital files didn't have an accompanying RAW file, even though she was recording JPG Small and RAW art the same time. Has anyone on this forum ever experienced anything like that? If so, what can be done about it?

Bob
peter_mckone
More information please:
1. How does she move the photos from the camera to the computer?
2. Could you post the exif data from one of the jpegs where the associated raw file is missing?

pjmeade
I recently borrowed a friend's 5D for an event. After downloading the RAW files, I discovered that many were missing. Windows explorer showed that there were files of some sort in place on the disk and I was able to recover them with SanDisk Rescue PRO. I should think that would be a good place to start.
Hope this helps.
