State Level pageant headshots

<p>I have been asked to do the headshots for a State Level Miss USA pageant. I am a wedding photographer and have very little experience in the fashion world. Does anyone have any advice for me? Such as, What color backdrop should I use (They stated they wanted all of them with the same color backdrop)? Should I have a large fan to blow hair? Should I bring a makeup artist? Or anything else you can think of? Thanks in advance!</p>

<p>The state organization has a list of requirements and limitations that the contestant should have received. These guidelines level the playing field between entrants.<br /> The head-shot is usually pretty bland, blue paper background, typical PR look.<br /> That's my experience anyway. One thing you can count on is change.</p>
