I have a great Arca Swiss camera, but service is problematic. I am looking at having to send my camera to France for a modification. Any experiences? bob_salomon Posted September 21, 2002 Share Posted September 21, 2002 Linhof factory service is at 16 Chapin Road Pine Brook, NJ 973 808-9626 They have over 20 years of experience and factory trained technicians. Their service for in and out of warranty items is available to any user who does bot have a gray markey product. For gray market all service is by the selling dealer or the factory in Germany. As a professional I have needed service on my Linhof equipment, and Marflex is superb and loaded with integrity. I have personally spoken with Marvin and Krikor at Marflex, and it something was amiss....they fixed it, at their expense, like a 'lightning bolt.' No,... quality service is not cheap. Neither is fixing a Rolls-Royce in comparison to a Geo Metro. You get what you pay for, and I can personally testify, from experience, that with Marflex and Linhof,...you get what you pay for.. ..with back up and customer confidence. Marflex put's their money where their mouth is....and in this day, and age, that is remarkable, and to be valued. Richard Boulware - Denver.
